| 1:00-2:00 | Second session: "A Focus on the Editorial": guest editor Mike Rouse, Goldsboro News-Argus and possibly Steve Herring, editor of the Mount Olive Tribune, discussing their process in writing editorials and selecting editorial cartoons |
| 2:00-2:30 | Brainstorming sessions for ideas for incorporating editorials and editorial cartoons in argument, resulting in a resources booklet that will be mailed to participants after the meeting |
