North Carolina Conference of English Instructors

This October, NCCEI will be offering pared down versions of our fall statewide conference at a modest cost in three locations across the state. Each mini-conference will consist of a day of concurrent sessions, a luncheon with a speaker or guided discussion, and an opportunity to network with colleagues from across your region.

CEI to Go: Western -– October 14 @ the Broyhill Civic Center, Lenoir hosted by
Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute

CEI to Go: Central -- October 21 @ Mebane Arts & Community Center, Mebane hosted by
Alamance Community College

CEI to Go: Eastern -- October 28 @ Craven Community College hosted by
Craven Community College

The mission of the North Carolina Conference of English Instructors since its beginning in 1972
has been to encourage and support effective teaching in writing, the humanities, and speech;
promote and provide opportunities for professional development;
and advocate and recommend policies for professional issues.
