To Holiday Inn, Southern Pines, NC

  • From Greensboro
    1. Take US 220 South to Candor.
    2. Outside Candor, exit US 220 onto NC 211 South to traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
    3. Enter traffic circle in left lane and exit in the left lane onto US 15-501 South toward Aberdeen.
    4. Two miles from traffic circle you will pass Pinecrest Plaza Shopping Center. At the stoplight intersection turn left onto Morganton Rd. At the top of the hill (about 1 mile), you will pass the National Guard Armory on your left. As you pass the Armory, you will see the bridge crossing US 1. Turn left onto the service road before the bridge for the Holiday Inn entrance.

  • From Chapel Hill, Durham
    1. Take US 15-501 South to Sanford. US 15-501 merges with US 1 at Sanford. Stay on US 1 to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd. and Sandhills Community College. Don't take this exit.
    2. The second exit is to Pennsylvania Ave. and the Historic District. Don't take this exit.
    3. The third exit is to Morganton Rd. Take this exit, and as you exit keep your right turn signal on. You will exit to Holiday Inn on your right from the off-ramp.

  • From Raleigh
    1. Take US 1 South to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd. and Sandhills Community College. Don't take this exit.
    2. The second exit is to Pennsylvania Ave. and the Historic District. Don't take this exit.
    3. The third exit is to Morganton Rd. Take this exit, and as you exit keep your right turn signal on. You will exit to Holiday Inn on your right from the off-ramp.

  • From Rocky Mount, Wilson
    1. Take I-95 to Benson. Exit at Benson
    2. In Benson take NC 27 to Coats, then Buies Creek, then Lillington, then Cameron.
    3. Drive through the village of Cameron and exit onto US 1 South.
    4. Take US 1 South to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd. and Sandhills Community College. Don't take this exit.
    5. The second exit is to Pennsylvania Ave. and the Historic District. Don't take this exit.
    6. The third exit is to Morganton Rd. Take this exit, and as you exit keep your right turn signal on. You will exit to Holiday Inn on your right from the off-ramp.

  • From Morehead City, New Bern, Kinston, Goldsboro
    1. Take US 70 to I-95 and take I-95 South.
    2. Take I-95 to Benson. Exit at Benson

    1. From the northeast side take NC 24 to Cameron.
    2. Drive up the hill through the village of Cameron and exit onto US 1 South.
    3. Take US 1 South to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd., Pinehurst, and Sandhills Community College. Don't take this exit.
    4. The second exit is to Pennsylvania Ave. and the Historic District. Don't take this exit.
    5. The third exit is to Morganton Rd. Take this exit, and as you exit keep your right turn signal on. You will exit to Holiday Inn on your right from the off-ramp.

  • From Fayetteville, southwest side
    1. From the southwest side take US 401 to the Raeford by-pass and then NC 211.
    2. Take NC 211 to Aberdeen where NC 211 merges with US 1 North.
    3. Continue on US 1 North about three miles to Southern Pines. DO NOT turn right onto old US 1. Continue on US 1 by-pass for 1/2 mile and exit right onto Morganton Rd.
    4. Turn left onto Morganton Rd. over US 1.
    5. Just over the bridge turn right onto the service road at the Holiday Inn sign.

  • From Rockingham
    1. Take US 1 North to Aberdeen.
    2. Continue on US 1 North about three miles to Southern Pines. DO NOT turn right onto old US 1. Continue on US 1 by-pass for 1/2 mile and exit right onto Morganton Rd.
    3. Turn left onto Morganton Rd. over US 1.
    4. Just over the bridge turn right onto the service road at the Holiday Inn sign.

  • From Laurinburg
    1. Take US 15-501 North to Aberdeen. US 15-501 merges with US 1 North in Aberdeen.
    2. Continue on US 1 North about three miles to Southern Pines. After about 1 1/2 miles, do not exit onto 15-501. Continue on US 1 North. After another mile, DO NOT turn right onto old US 1. Continue on US 1 by-pass for 1/2 mile and exit right onto Morganton Rd.
    3. Turn left onto Morganton Rd. over US 1.
    4. Just over the bridge turn right onto the service road at the Holiday Inn sign.
