Editing the "My Courses" Module in Blackboard

  1. If you are teaching a course in Blackboard 6, you will login and see the "My Courses" heading on the right side of the screen with all the courses that you are teaching listed below the heading. If you would like to view only the courses that you are currently teaching, move your mouse pointer below the "edit the My Courses module" icon and click when the pointer becomes the "select" icon (indicated by a small hand):

  2. After you click the "edit the My Courses module" icon, you can use your mouse pointer to "de-select" each course that you do not want to see listed under the "My Courses" heading. Then click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the screen to save your choices:

  3. After you save your choices, you will be returned to your opening screen with your new "My Courses" view:

  4. If you want to see all of the courses that you have taught in Blackboard 6, click the "Course Catalog" link at the top of the screen to see all of your courses:

  5. Note: None of these actions affect the view that students have when they login to Blackboard although students may also edit their "My Courses" module to list only their current courses. To see only your current courses listed, click the "Current Courses" tab to return to that screen:
