Archive/Restore Blackboard Course
If you are using a copy protected cartridge, the Course Copy function is not going to copy the course correctly. The reason the student codes aren't working with this copy is because the cartridge ID never made it to the new course; so the cartridge server cannot determine the correct cartridge.

You can have your system administrator use the ARCHIVE/RESOTRE functions in the Administrator's control panel to duplicate your course. This will also copy over the enrollment (when the course is restored to a new courseID), and the access codes I sent yesterday will work with that new course.

If your sysadmin is unfamiliar with the ARCHIVE/RESOTRE functions, they should be detailed on or about page 84 of the Blackboard Learning System Administrator Manual.
