- If you want to store a file in your drop box and then later send it to your instructor (if you are a student) or to a student in your class (if you are a teacher), follow these steps.
- In the Digital Drop Box, click on the "Add File" button near the top left of the screen:
- When the "File Information" dialog box appears, type a title for your paper or report, as shown below. Then click on the "Browse" button to locate the file on your floppy drive, hard drive, or other storage device. Next, click in the "Comments" text box and type a brief message concerning the contents of your file. Finally, click the "Submit" button.

- After you have submitted your file, the following message will appear to remind you that your file is now located in the drop box but has not been sent to a recipient.

When you click the "OK" button, the following message will appear:
- When you click the "OK" button in the "Receipt: Success" dialog box, your will receive a message that your file is now stored in the drop box:
- At this point you can now send the file in your drop box to your instructor (or to a student if you are an instructor sending the file from the Control Panel Digital Drop Box.
1. File Information: Be sure to click on the "Select File" box as shown below to choose the file to send from your own drop box. 2. Submit: Then click the "Submit" button to send the file:
- At this point you will receive a message that your file has been sent. Note: If you are an instructor, the message will state that you have sent the file to the recipient.
